Dixie E Sotelo

Dixie was born of nurturing parents who have been supportive of her dreams and ambition since she was a child. He grew up with a passion for reading love stories of well-known authors and her parents were very supportive of her spending a huge portion of her allowance to buy books she wanted.

Dixie has one sister who was quite materialistically oriented but nevertheless worked so hard to acquire things she wanted. She was also a devoted church goer and volunteer at many church activities. Dixie also has a stepbrother, a product of her father’s mistake, but the child grew-up with his mother and Dixie has not seen him since he was one year old. Dixie will be happy to unite with him again.
Dixie completed a degree of BS in Agriculture from the University of the Philippines in Losbanos and worked till she got married, became a stayed home mother of 4. She then completed a second course, BS in Nursing from Angeles University Foundation, College of Nursing before departing for the USA to work as a nurse.

She obtained a divorce from his husband due to his infidelity and remarried after meeting her current husband who promised to take care of her, more than anything else. Their union was blessed with a son.

Dixie is a passionate storyteller with a deep interest in exploring the complexities of human relationships and emotions. Drawing inspiration from both personal experiences and the world around them, Dixie crafts narratives that delve into love, loss, and redemption. She also has written many short narratives focused on her Nursing Experiences here in the United States, but she has not sought any of them for publication yet. The Evil AI, debug my reality is Dixie’s first book, showcasing her talent for creating compelling characters and thought-provoking stories. When not writing, Dixie enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and pursuing creative endeavors.
